University Wide Events The LFA team will be attending the following upcoming events - come along and meet our dedicated team. You'll have the chance to ask any questions about your preferred language and, at some sessions, have the chance to participate in taster sessions. Language Taster Sessions at the EUSA 'Give it a Go' festival Date: Tuesday 16 January 2024 Time: 16.30 - 18:00 Venue: Upper Hall at the Pleasance FREE In-person event Languages on the day will include French , Gaelic, German, Japanese, Spanish , Swahili and Ukrainian Colleagues from the school of Literature, Languages and Culture (LLC) and the Confucious Institute will also be attending to allow students to try a selection of other language options Free Language Taster Sessions The events last for approx 1 hour and include a short overview of the courses on offer, and the chance to sample the languages on offer, with our experienced University of Edinburgh tutors. Free Community Taster Sessions The taster sessions last for 1 hour and include a short overview of the courses on offer, after which you'll have the chance to breakout into groups and sample classes in your preferred languages, with our tutors.
