The Confucius Institute for Scotland in the University of Edinburgh offers a range of Chinese language classes at all levels, from beginner to advanced. With small class sizes and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, our experienced teachers aim to help students enjoy the learning process and gain confidence to use their new skills straight away.

Students of all ages are drawn to study with us for many different reasons, yet they all share a love of language learning and a keen interest in China. After all, what better way is there to begin understanding a country's culture than learning its language?

Booking is now open for the Autumn programme of Chinese language courses via the Confucius website, running from 30 September 2024.
