Remote Learning: Teams

Information is you are attending a Short Course on Teams.

A very small number of our courses are offered on Teams. If your course is being offered on Teams, below is some information which may help you to get learning!

Joining a class

Once you've enrolled on one of our courses, you will be sent instructions with details on how to join your class. You can get some more information on the University of Edinburgh's Microsoft Teams help pages:

General Microsoft Teams help

Please note: you will be sent meeting details at least 48 hours in advance of your first class.

Participating in a class

You will need to join the class with audio and video on your device. You will sent more information before the first class on how the session will run and your tutor will provide guidance throughout the course to allow all participants to fully engage with our remote language learning.

Technical issues

Unfortunately we're unable to provide an individual level of technical support to students that enrol on our remotely taught classes, however the University of Edinburgh have put together some General hel information which can be accessed on the link above. We would encourage it's use if you need assistance familiarising yourself with how Teams works.
