Concertos for All - Monday afternoons, 6 week course

This course is suited to general music lovers who would like to gain an overview of the history of the concerto in western classical music. 

 

Icons of Jazz - Wednesday evenings, 10 week course

This course offers some technical insight and an overarching look at the historical contexts of the main jazz innovators. Gain a deeper appreciation of familiar players and get introduced to some new names.

 

Listening to Music - Thursday late afternoons, 6 week course

In this course learners will listen to a range of Western classical music, and discuss its ingredients - melody, harmony, rhythm and more – asking, what does each one contribute? How do they combine to make what we call “music”?
