(Formerly Short Courses) Learn more about the ethos behind our new name and rebrand. Image Some of our regular learners may be noticing that we have a new name and a new look… That’s because Short Courses at the Centre for Open Learning is now Lifelong Learning at the Centre for Open Learning! Whilst we continue to offer quality courses (taught by University of Edinburgh staff) that run over a few days or a few weeks, we know that we have much more to offer our learners. Our new name, Lifelong Learning, encompasses the continuous development of skills and knowledge throughout a learner’s life and reflects our ambitions to provide these opportunities locally. As well as courses, we’re also offering you the chance to get involved with our programme of (FREE) events and lectures. They're a great way to really become part of our lifelong learning community as you'll have the chance to meet new people, share ideas and spark up conversation while inspiring and encouraging each other. We’ll bring you more news of the ways you can get involved over the next few weeks and months.
