Teaching Fellow Tony McKibbin talks about his upcoming film course While people might perceive TV to be more pertinent these days than cinema, key directors including Scorsese, Coppola, Nolan and Tarantino have insisted on the importance of film as film. Join Tony on his upcoming course 'Talking Pictures' to look at various 21st-century films and propose in the images offered, the complexity of form, the intricacy of narrative and the awareness of film history, cinema remains of immense importance. Tony McKibbin writes for magazines and journals worldwide. He is a Teaching Fellow of Lifelong Learning courses at the Centre for Open Learning in both film and media and also in literature.
