We are delighted to welcome a new Teaching Fellow in Fibre Arts and Fashion. Yusra will be teaching Textiles: An Introduction to Stitch in term 2 and the good news is - you can book it now! Yusra Makhdoomi - Teaching Fellow in Fibre Arts and Fashion Image Yusra is a colour & materials consultant, researcher and artist based in Glasgow. Yusra is a graduate of Chelsea College of Arts and the Royal College Art, where she completed her Masters in Textiles in 2018. Her work encompasses a range of processes and outcomes including textiles, collage, photography and art direction. A love of colour and texture underpin her practice, often exploring how tradition, memory and material histories shape our understanding of place. She has been a visiting lecturer on BA Textile Design courses at numerous universities across the country, including Central Saint Martins and Glasgow School of Art.
