The University of Edinburgh's International Summer School is a once in a lifetime experience for students looking to broaden their academic and cultural horizons at one of the Top 20 universities in the world (ranked 15th in QS World University Rankings 2022).
We're inviting students from all over the globe to join our dynamic and immersive range of summer programmes. We offer a great combination of academic study options with talks from leading academics, skills development sessions and free time activities, including field trips, sightseeing and lots more.

With each course you’ll get lots of contact time with our passionate and knowledgeable University of Edinburgh academic teaching staff, who are there to help you make the most of your summer learning experience.
As a Summer School student you’ll be based in the heart of Edinburgh and have the chance to explore one of the world’s most beautiful and historic cities and enjoy the wonders of Scottish hospitality first hand.
What’s more, you’ll be sharing this experience with new friends from a range of international and cultural backgrounds who are looking to make memories to last a lifetime.
