Meet Your Programme Representative and Share Feedback. As a student at the University of Edinburgh, your feedback matters. It's your views, comments and suggestions that will help shape future improvements. Programme Representatives work on behalf of their fellow students to improve the student learning experience. They can collect feedback on aspects of your course or programme such as curriculum, assessment and learning resources and share that with staff, predominantly through the Student-Staff Liaison Committees (SSLCs). Your Programme Representative for History has now been appointed. Meet Your Programme Representative George Christopher Baxter - Programme Represenative History Hello, my name is George Baxter and I am your Programme Representative for History. I took a History degree at Edinburgh University in 1997 and went on to teach History untill 2016 when I retired. I have since taken various History Short Courses which I have really enjoyed. I am happy to represent other students in their enjoyment of the courses available and push your views in how to make the courses even better. My role is to represent your views and opinions on all matters relating to learning and teaching. I can contact Course Organisers directly on your behalf, and will raise your views and concerns at the Student-Staff Liaison Committee for your Programme. You might want to let me know what you think about the content of your courses and how they are structured, how they are taught. You might have feedback on your learning experience such as access to learning resources on LEARN and the teaching rooms, on the support you are receiving with your studies, and on how well and clearly the Centre for Open Learning communicates with you. Submit Your Feedback You can submit feedback about your course or programme directly to your Programme Representative using the button below. Your Programme Representative will collect all feedback and use it to inform their input at the Student/Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC). Minutes from the SSLC will be available online after each meeting. Feedback Form This article was published on 2024-10-14
