Programme Rep - Languages (Elementary)

Meet Your Programme Representative and Share Feedback

As a student at the University of Edinburgh, your feedback matters.  It's your views, comments and suggestions that will help shape future improvements.

Programme Representatives work on behalf of their fellow students to improve the student learning experience. They can collect feedback on aspects of your course or programme such as curriculum, assessment and learning resources and share that with staff, predominantly through the Student-Staff Liaison Committees (SSLCs).

Your Programme Representative for Languages (Elemntary) has now been appointed.

Meet Your Programme Representative

Gina Everson - Programme Representative for Languages (Elementary)

[scald=90194:sdl_editor_representation]It is my pleasure to be your programme representative for Languages (Elementary). In this role, I can represent your views and opinions on all matters relative to both studying and teaching, both areas in which I have experience. Being of Scots and Italian heritage my own course of study is Italian. I also studied French to Advanced level in my earlier years and over the summer took advantage of a course in Spanish Beginners.

I started as a college support teacher of typing and office skills to mature students and then as PA in varying office environments culminating in an Executive Assistant and Office Manager within the government of Western Australia. Additionally, I have served on interview panels and ministerial panels dealing with repatriation matters.

As a Programme Rep, I can liaise with course organisers on your behalf and can raise views or concerns at the Student-Staff Liaison Committee meetings. For example, you may wish to discuss the content of your course with respect to their structure; how they are taught, and if you are studying for credit, how they are assessed.  The cohesion between students, tutors, learning methods and support should be seamless.

I look forward to working with you.

Submitt Your Feedback

You can submit feedback about your course or programme to your Programme Representative using the button below.  Your Programme Representatives will collect all feedback and use it to inform their input at the Student/Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC). Minutes from the SSLC will be available online after each meeting.
