If your course is being offered on Teams, below is some information which may help you to get learning.Please note: learners will gain access to their course Canvas page 1 week prior to the course start date. There will be a section on the Canvas page 'Welcome to the Course and How to Join Your Online Classes' which learners should visit and a hyperlink to join the Teams meeting can be found on this page. Before Your ClassAfter you enrol on your course, you will receive instructions explaining how to join your online class.Learners will gain access to their course Canvas page one week prior to the course start date.There will be a section on the Canvas page 'Welcome to the Course and How to Join Your Online Classes' which learners should visit and a hyperlink to join the Microsoft Teams meeting can be found on this page. What You NeedTo take part in your online class, make sure you have:A device (computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone)A stable internet connectionA microphone and cameraAccess to Microsoft Teams (through the app or your web browser) How to Join Your ClassOnce you are logged in to Canvas, you should see your course(s) listed in your learner portal. You should also be able to see a tab called ‘Welcome to the Course and How to Join Your Online Classes’. Here you will find the hyperlink and passcode that will allow you to join your class. Click the link to join the meeting.Choose to join using the Teams app or your web browser (either is fine)Enter your name if prompted.Once MS Teams has launched you will be asked to enter your password. Turn your camera and microphone on, then click Join. During the ClassPlease join with your audio and video turned on so you can take part in learning.Your tutor will explain how the session will run and guide you through the activities.You may be asked to participate in discussions or group work during the session.
